Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign Bayern Munich midfielder CorentinTolisso and Jurgen Klopp has reportedly informed the club’s bosses of his intentions to get the player to Anfield as soon as possible.
Tolisso is regarded as a fine attacking midfielder that can play on either side of the flanks, but he continues to struggle to nail down a starting berth because of the richness in squad depth that Bayern currently boast of. His teammate, Kingsley Coman, is another of Bayern Munich’s stars to have been linked with a summer exit and the France international winger has also had links with Liverpool.
The quest to find a replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum is a matter of huge concern for Liverpool and they know that they must have a very strong squad depth if they want to have another shot at winning the Premier League and Champions League titles. Their rivals, Manchester United, have already started strengthening their squad with the signing of Jadon Sancho and the strong interest in Raphael Varane and they know that they must also act accordingly in bringing in one or two new faces at the club.
It is not certain that Tolisso will leave this summer but if there’s a possibility, the French midfielder could leave for as little as £17 million.
