Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign Bayern Munich midfielder CorentinTolisso and Jurgen Klopp has reportedly informed the club’s bosses of his intentions to get the player to Anfield as soon as possible.
Tolisso is currently finding game time rare to come by at the Allianz Arena and thoughts have reportedly struck his mind about a potential exit from the club this summer. There have been talks and reports about Premier League giants Liverpool being in the market for new defensive signings ahead of the opening of the summer transfer window in recent weeks, and according to a latest report, it seems like the Reds have finally landed a major defender signing. Liverpool’s quest to sign a top central defender had seen them get linked to a number of targets in the past, including RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate.
Konate’s teammate, Dayot Upamecano, who is also his central defender pairing, was a name on the Reds’ transfer shortlist but while Liverpool failed to act fast on convincing the French defender, he opted to sign for Bayern Munich instead, signaling his agreement to sign a five-year contract with the Bundesliga champions.
