It was a wonderful night for football as Liverpool edged past FC Red Bull Salzburg in a 4-3 thriller in Anfield.
Sadio Mane started the proceeding for Liverpool even before the clock could reach 10 minutes mark with a fantastic finish. Andrew Robertson added up to the tally in the 25th minute and then it was Mohamed Salah who scored Liverpool’s third in the 36th minute. Liverpool was comfortably ahead with three goals advantage in front of the home crowd. However, Hwang Hee-chan struck just minutes later to reduce the gap to 3-1. Liverpool was criticized for their carefree manner of playing in the second half as Red Bull came from behind twice to level the score. For them, Takumi Minamino scored in the 56th minute and Erling Braut Haland scored in the 60th minute on the match. The game was set at 3-3. It took nine minutes and Mo Salah to produce magic again in the Anfield to win the game for the Reds. The final score remains at 4-3 in favor of the Reds.

The quest for success began on Tuesday with a home match which was played against Paris Saint-Germain after reaching the final hurdle after 4 months in Kiev post being defeated by Real Madrid by 3-1. Salah failed to play a complete role in the match due to shoulder injury previously as he collided with Sergio Ramos. However, he said that they played against the teams that have already achieved the title previously and yet managed to go to final. So he said he they can make it to victory and even achieve both Premier League and Champions League. He doesn’t want to put excess pressure on the team as he knows anything can happen. Salah also revealed his recent success he enjoyed due to his bonding with Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
